General Hunting Information:

All hunts are
fully guided. No drop camps.

Prunty Ranch
Outfitters furnishes all meals, cooked and served ranch style.
Breakfasts can be served in a sit-down format, or prepared to go.
Lunches are made and sent to go each day, and a hot dinner will
await your party each evening. For wilderness hunts, meals are
prepared in advance, frozen, and sent to camp.

Hunts are sold
as packages. Deer and elk hunts include five days of hunting.
Clients are not refunded for days not used. (If a hunter harvests
game and fills his/her tag the first day of the hunt, there is no
refund for the four days not used.)

Additional days
can be added to any hunt package for $250 per day, per client.

Hunters are
welcome to bring non-hunting companions. Some limitations apply
(see specific hunt information), and each additional guest is
charged $250 per day.

Due to the
extremely remote location, for 072 wilderness hunts, the entire
party must be packed in and out at the same time. (i.e. companions
can not leave early)

For horseback
hunts, we provide the horses, saddles, bridles, etc. Hunters are
welcome to bring their own saddles, but if they do not fit the
horses properly, Prunty Ranch Outfitters will provide a saddle.
Scabbards and saddlebags not provided.

For 072
wilderness hunts, all clothing and gear must be packed in duffle
bags. Absolutely no suitcases, trunks, or other hard containers.

Alcohol is not
provided for any hunt, but you are welcome to bring your own. For
area 072 wilderness hunts, alcohol must be in plastic containers.
Also, beer is too bulky to be packed on a pack horse.

All guests,
hunting or not, must complete and sign guest profile, master guide
service contract, and liability release waiver.

All hunts
require a 50% deposit, with the remaining 50% due upon arrival at
headquarters. In the event that a hunt must be cancelled, 50% of
the deposit will be refunded.

Hunters must
have hunting license and tag on their person at all times.

Elk and deer
hunts are draw only. Tags can be purchased for mountain lion until
the quota for the area is filled.

Prunty Ranch Outfitters is not responsible for inclement weather,
natural game movement patterns, shot misses or declined shot
opportunities, hunter’s physical condition, or hunts that are not
completed for any reason.

The Prunty Ranch is a working cattle and horse ranch; the outfitting is
an extension of our business. Because of this, we book a very limited
number of hunts—we believe in quality, not quantity. In order to book
hunts in the most efficient and satisfactory manner possible, hunters
are encouraged to contact Prunty Ranch Outfitters as soon as possible.
